Q: What kind of people do you tend to work with?

Most of my clients are intelligent, successful people who are experiencing some trouble in their life (relationship difficulties, life transitions, depression, anxiety) or feel ready to move beyond some past issue or limitation to create a more fulfilling life.

Q: When do you see clients?

I have office hours on Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 PM, with my last session ending at 8:30PM. On Tuesday and Thursday, I see clients between the hours of 10:00AM and 8:30PM.

Q: How often would I come in?

I see most clients once a week. My experience is that this provides the best momentum for creating and sustaining change in their lives.

Q: How many sessions would I see you?

It depends greatly on your goal, the complexity of the situation, and your readiness to change. You are always free to terminate counseling at any time.

Q: What is your fee?

I charge $100 per 50-minute counseling session. I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. I also offer an extended 75-minute session for $135.

Q: Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance directly. However, I do provide you with the necessary forms which you can submit to your insurance company. Most clients find they are reimbursed for their sessions with me as an out-of-network mental health care provider. I am happy to provide you with information so that you can contact your insurance company to verify your coverage.
