If you are reading this page, I assume something in your life is not working for you, though I also know that there is plenty that is working. Counseling is like a personal time-out, a place to get centered and refreshed. If you are feeling overwhelmed, it is a place for you to get support and comfort and be deeply listened to. When you are ready, it is a place for challenge and insight. When you are fully engaged in the process, therapy is one way to get above the issues you are facing and take ownership of your choices.
Did you know that having a dedicated counselor is the best-kept secret of many of the most productive individuals? Healthy people know that they need checks and balances in their life, and that it is OK to get support. If you are feeling stuck, a healing relationship with a competent therapist can help you get to the next step in your personal evolution.
I maintain a network of quality therapists who address topics that are outside of my specialty area. These include domestic violence, ADD/ADHD, sex offenses, schizophrenia, and the chronically mentally ill or those with character disorders. I also work closely with professionals who can evaluate my clients in order to prescribe anti-depressants, anxiety drugs or other medications.
Please feel free to call (206) 355-4894 or e-mail me at dinainno@yahoo.com for more information. I offer a free initial 20-minute phone session for you to get to know a bit about me before you decide to contract with me as your counselor. I look forward to hearing from you.
